Let’s get right down to it. The fish oil we promote at Outpost CrossFit is Carlson’s Fish Oil. It has concentrated amounts of both DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid). These specific fatty acids must be acquired from other food sources as the human body cannot produce them. Also, it is manufactured in-state by Illinois-based J.R. Carlson Laboratories. The total servings per container, even after calculating your estimated fish oil, is well worth the average sticker price. That’s roughly $28.

The ideal ratio of DHA to EPA is 1:1. Because DHA converts to EPA much easier, choose a higher DHA content fish oil product.

Consistent Use Benefits:

  • Lower inflammation
  • Reduced triglycerides
  • Diminished heart disease risk
  • Antioxidants
  • Reduced blood pressure
